Course Description

This online course, “Gulf Arabic for the Modern Learner: A Comparison to Fusha,” is designed to teach English-speaking students the nuances of Gulf Arabic and its differences from Standard Arabic (Fusha). Throughout the course, you will learn key phrases and expressions in Gulf Arabic, from the basics of saying “Yes, I speak Arabic” to more complex phrases like “I sincerely apologize.”

The course is divided into multiple lessons, each focusing on a specific phrase or expression in Gulf Arabic. The lessons will cover a range of common situations, from asking for directions to ordering food at a restaurant.
